The most exciting game of round 11 in the BABA took place in Bridgetown. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Cavaliers (11-2) to fourth ranked Celtics (8-5) 101-98 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Cavaliers. Celtics looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Celtics made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was power forward Joel Hunte who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks. Theo Greenidge chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Celtics' coach C Vanderpool used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Deveron Knight (190-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds for the guests. Celtics maintains fourth place with 8-5 record. Cavaliers at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. Celtics' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bridgetown Spartans.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Bridgetown: Lakers (#6) and Spartans (#8). Lakers (5-8) crushed visiting Spartans (0-12) by 25 points 87-62. Naturalized Grenadian forward Jehu Lafeuillee (203, college: IU East) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 9 blocks. Keefe Birkette contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Karlos Greenidge answered with 14 points and 9 rebounds for Spartans. Lakers moved-up to fifth place. Spartans at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Lakers' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bridgetown to the arena Tridents.
Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Bridgetown: Bulls (#3) and Tridents (#5). Bulls (8-4) crushed visiting Tridents (4-9) by 25 points 80-55. It was a great evening for Manuel Alleng who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Antoine Winter responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Tridents' coach C. Edwards gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bulls maintains third place with 8-4 record having four points less than leader Pinelands. Tridents lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. Bulls' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bridgetown to the arena Pinelands.

In the last game of round 11 Pinelands crushed Warrens in Bridgetown 96-64.



Lakers - Spartans 87-62

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Bridgetown: Lakers (#6) and Spartans (#8). Lakers (5-8) crushed visiting Spartans (0-12) by 25 points 87-62. Lakers forced 21 Spartans turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Lakers brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Naturalized Grenadian forward Jehu Lafeuillee (203, college: IU East) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 9 blocks. Keefe Birkette contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Five Lakers players scored in double figures. Karlos Greenidge answered with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Dale Franklyn added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Spartans. Lakers moved-up to fifth place. Warrens - Pinelands 64-96

There was no surprise when 7th ranked Warrens (2-10) were crushed at home by leader Pinelands (12-0) 96-64 on Sunday. Pinelands dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Warrens' 34. They outrebounded Warrens 59-37 including a 40-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Rasheed Maynard (188-2000) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 25 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Derion Hurley helped adding 20 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Pinelands players scored in double figures. Center Jonathan Dottin (203) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Kaliel Austin scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. Warrens' coach P. Griffith gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Pinelands have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. Warrens lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost. Pinelands' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bridgetown Bulls.
