Rasheed Maynard claims Barbados BABA weekly honour

Rasheed Maynard (188-G-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Pinelands and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 23-year old guard had a double-double of 27 points and 25 rebounds, while his team outclassed Warrens (#7, 2-11) with 32-point margin 96-64. It allowed Pinelands to consolidate first place in the Barbados BABA. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Pinelands still have not lost a single game, getting all 13 victories. In the team's last game Maynard had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Pinelands' top player in his first season with the team. Maynard has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.0ppg), rebounds (8th best: 9.3rpg), assists (3rd best: 4.8apg) and averages solid 1.2bpg,3.1spg and 62.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Grenadian forward Jehu Lafeuillee (203-F) of Lakers Sports Club. Lafeuillee impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Lakers to another comfortable win outscoring Spartans (#8, 0-12) 87-62. This victory allowed Lakers to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-8 record. Lafeuillee is one of the most experienced players at Lakers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.9ppg (#1). He also registered 13.6 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Joel Hunte (C/F) of C.A.M. Smart Assurance City United Celtics (#4). Hunte showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Celtics, leading his team to a 101-98 win against #2 ranked Cavaliers in a game of the week. Celtics needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 5 lost games. Hunte has a great season in Barbados. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.1rpg (2nd best). He also has 3.2spg and 1.4bpg.
