Barbados BABA round 1 best performance: Rachad Hall

Guard Rachad Hall (183-G) had an amazing evening in the last round for Pinelands, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The player had a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Tridents (#8, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 78-71. Thanks to this victory Pinelands moved-up to the 3rd position in Barbados BABA. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Pinelands won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Hall had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Pinelands and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Rachad Hall has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.0ppg. Hall is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 14.0rpg), assists (6th best: 6.0apg) and averages impressive 66.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Nicholai Williams (F) of C.A.M Smart Assurance Agent Inc. Heat. Williams had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Heat lost that game 68-85 to Warrens (1-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Williams is one of the most experienced players at Heat and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Derion Hurley (G) of league's top team Burger King Clapham Bulls. Hurley scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Bulls, leading his team to a 98-68 easy win against Lakers (#7, 0-1). Bulls has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Hurley also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Hurley as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

5. Zane Gaskin (G) of Tridents - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Deveron Knight (190-F/G-2000) of Cavaliers - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Zachary Cave (F) of Cavaliers - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Rasheed Maynard (188-G-2000) of Bulls - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Nigel Jones (201-G/F-1990) of Pinelands - 16 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Jamar King (G) of Warrens - 17 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists
