The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Bulls (6-1) in Bridgetown on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Celtics (7-0) 93-74. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Bulls. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Kiserian Adams (193-2000, college: Baton Rouge) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Theo Greenidge contributed with 19 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. point guard Simeon Maynard (173-2004) answered with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for Bulls. Undefeated Celtics have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Defending champion Bulls dropped to the second place with one game lost.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Bridgetown: Cavaliers (#3) and Pinelands (#6). Pinelands were crushed at home by 27 points 61-88 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for swingman Deveron Knight (190-2000) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Adriel Brathwaite helped adding 15 points and 15 rebounds. At the losing side guard Rachad Hall (183) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. The victory was the third consecutive win for Cavaliers. They maintain third place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Celtics. Pinelands at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Warrens and Heat.

Heat was defeated at home 77-85 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It was an exceptional evening for Tyreke Harewood who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds. Christopher Cadogan came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for Heat in the defeat. Lakers maintains fourth place with 4-3 record. Loser Heat keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Pinelands and Warrens.

In the last game of round 7 winless Tridents were smashed by Warrens on the road 85-59.



Warrens - Tridents 85-59

The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Warrens' (2-5) home victory over bottom-ranked Tridents (0-7) 85-59 on Sunday. Warrens dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tridents' 30. Warrens forced 20 Tridents turnovers and outrebounded them 56-37 including a 39-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Warrens looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Tridents' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Warrens made 9 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for center Jonathan Dottin (203) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. Guard Manuel Alleng accounted for 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Guard Zane Gaskin came up with 18 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and forward Joshua Harvey added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Tridents in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Warrens moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Pinelands and Heat. Tridents lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost.
