Maynard's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

24-year old guard Rasheed Maynard (188-G-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Burger King Clapham Bulls and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Tridents (#8, 0-7) with 56-point margin 106-50. Bulls was forced-out from the top positions in Barbados league. They are still close to the very top. Bulls would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Maynard had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Bulls, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Maynard has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.6ppg), assists (3rd best: 4.4apg) and averages solid 3.7spg and 58.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Deroni Hurley (175-G-2001) of top-ranked C.A.M. Smart Assurance City United Celtics. He is international guard in his first season at Celtics. In the last game Hurley recorded an impressive 20 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course he led Celtics to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Warrens (#5, 2-5) 99-60. This victory allowed Celtics to move up to 1st position in the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Celtics managed to win all 7 games keeping a perfect record. Hurley is one of the most experienced players at Celtics and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 5.7rpg and 7.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Gavin Phillips (G) of Station Hill Cavaliers (#3). Phillips showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Cavaliers, leading his team to a 98-71 easy win against #4 ranked Lakers in a game of the week. Cavaliers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Phillips has a great season in Barbados. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.4ppg (6th best).
