Barbados BABA round 7 best performance: Tyreke Harewood (by Hoops Agents)

Center Tyreke Harewood (C) put on an amazing game in the last round for Lakers Sports Club, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The player had a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Heat (#6, 2-5) 85-77. Lakers maintains the 4th position in Barbados BABA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Lakers will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. Harewood just recently signed at Lakers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Orange County Community College star has very solid stats this year. Harewood is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 12.0rpg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 51.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Deveron Knight (190-F/G-2000) of Station Hill Cavaliers. Knight had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Cavaliers to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Pinelands (#7, 2-5) 88-61. Cavaliers' 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Knight is a newcomer at Cavaliers, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.1ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 8.6rpg and 4.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Theo Greenidge (G) of league's top team C.A.M. Smart Assurance City United Celtics. Greenidge showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Celtics, leading his team to a 93-74 easy win against #2 ranked Bulls in a game of the week. Celtics have amazing season winning all 7 games without a single defeat. Greenidge turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Greenidge has a very solid season. In 7 games in Barbados he scored 13.9ppg. He also has 6.0rpg, 3.1spg and a FGP of 68.8%.
