Deveron Knight claims Barbados BABA weekly honour

Deveron Knight (190-F/G-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for Station Hill Cavaliers and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 24-year old swingman had a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed Lakers (#4, 6-5) with 37-point margin 118-81. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Cavaliers maintains the 3rd position in Barbados BABA. They are still close to the very top. Cavaliers would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 9-2 record. In the team's last game Knight had a remarkable 55.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Cavaliers' top player in his first season with the team. Knight has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.7ppg), rebounds (9th best: 9.0rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg,2.9spg and 55.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Joel Hunte (C/F) of league's best team C.A.M. Smart Assurance City United Celtics. Hunte impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Celtics to edge slightly lower-ranked Bulls (#2, 9-2) by 6 points 94-88. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Celtics consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Celtics managed to win all 11 games keeping a perfect record. Hunte is a newcomer at Celtics and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Rachad Hall (183-G) of Pinelands (#5). Hall showcased his all-around game by recording 9 points, 18 rebounds (!!!) and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Pinelands, leading his team to a 89-51 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Heat (#7, 2-10). The chances of Pinelands not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Hall could try to bring Pinelands' a little bit higher in the standings. Hall has individually a great season in Barbados. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.2ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 12.9rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 5.4apg (4th best).
