Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Celtics' 18. Bulls forced 19 Celtics turnovers and outrebounded them 55-31 including a 37-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Akeem Marsh (208-1986) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and guard Rasheed Maynard (188-2000) who added 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Deroni Hurley (175-2001) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Kiserian Adams (193-2000, college: Baton Rouge) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Celtics' coach C Vanderpool gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
