Bulls nipped Celtics in the decisive fifth game of the Finals to clinch Premier League title. Bulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international power forward Akeem Marsh (208-1986) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Rasheed Maynard (188-2000) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. The former international guard Deroni Hurley (175-2001) responded with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international guard Kiserian Adams (193-2000, college: Baton Rouge) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Celtics' coach C Vanderpool rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
