Deveron Knight claims Barbados BABA Hoops Agents weekly honour

International Guard Deveron Knight (195-G-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Station Hill Cavaliers and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 25-year old guard had the game-high 37 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Cavaliers in his team's victory, helping them to crush Pinelands (#5, 1-2) with 23-point margin 92-69. It allowed Cavaliers to consolidate first place in the Barbados BABA. The season is still on an early stage, but Cavaliers already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Knight had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Cavaliers and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Knight has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.8ppg. Knight is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 11.5rpg) and averages solid 62.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Trishon Gaskin (G ) of Warrens All-Stars. Gaskin impressed basketball fans with 31 points and 5 rebounds. Of course he led Warrens to another comfortable win 91-72 over Tridents (0-3) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Gaskin is one of the most experienced players at Warrens and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 6.0rpg and 4.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was Primus Walrond (201-G) of Lakers Sports Club (#6). Walrond scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Walrond's great performance the Lakers lost 73-104 to Bulls (#3, 2-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Lakers can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Walrond has individually a great season in Barbados. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.8rpg (8th best).

10. Mark Bridgeman (198-F -1990) of Bears - 15 points and 9 rebounds
