Barbados BABA round 4 best performance: Carl Thorpe (by Hoops Agents)

International Carl Thorpe (201-F -2001) had a great game in the last round for Pinelands, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 50 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Tridents (#8, 0-6) with 59-point margin 117-58. Pinelands is placed at 4th position in Barbados BABA. Pinelands is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. In the team's last game Thorpe had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range and got nine three-pointers out of 17 attempts. He just recently signed at Pinelands, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former York University, NE star has very solid stats this year. Bad luck as Bears lost that game 76-82 to slightly higher-ranked Lakers (2-4). Bears is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Winter is one of the most experienced players at Bears and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.0ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 13.5rpg and 4.7apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Kiserian Adams (193-G-2000) of league's second-best C.A.M. Smart Assurance City United Celtics. Adams scored 27 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was a key player of Celtics, leading his team to a 139-60 easy win against Tridents (#8, 0-6). Celtics started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Adams turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Adams has a great season in Barbados. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.5ppg (6th best). He also has 2.8spg, 1.2bpg and a FGP of 69.6%.
