Rasheed Maynard's triple-double lands him Player of the Week award

International Forward Rasheed Maynard (185-F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Burger King Clapham Bulls, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 25-year old player recorded a triple-double of 24 points adding also 11 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team beat Tridents (#8, 0-8), the league's bottom-ranked team 100-89. Bulls maintains the 3rd position in Barbados BABA. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Bulls will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team's last game Maynard had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Bulls' top player in his first season with the team. Rasheed Maynard has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 23.7ppg), assists (6th best: 4.6apg) and averages impressive 50.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Jonathan Dottin (203-G) of Warrens All-Stars. Dottin had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Warrens lost that game 86-98 to slightly higher-ranked Lakers (#5, 4-4). Warrens managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Warrens managed to get this year. Dottin is well-known at Warrens and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Joel Hunte (198-G-1997) of league's second-best C.A.M. Smart Assurance City United Celtics. Hunte showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Celtics, leading his team to a 117-96 easy win against the lower-ranked Bears (#6, 2-6). Celtics is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 7-1 record is not that bad... Hunte has a great season in Barbados. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.6rpg (8th best) and assists with 2.4apg (3rd best). He also has 1.4bpg and a FGP of 55.6%.
