International Carl Thorpe (201-F -2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for Pinelands, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 21 rebounds, while his team crushed Lakers (#5, 4-7) with 16-point margin 92-76. Pinelands maintains the 4th position in Barbados BABA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Pinelands will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. Thorpe just recently signed at Pinelands, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former York University, NE star has very solid stats this year. Thorpe is in league's top in points (2nd best: 28.7ppg), assists (4th best: 5.1apg) and averages impressive 2.1bpg and 58.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Manuel Alleng (G ) of Burger King Clapham Bulls. Alleng had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Bulls lost that game 82-97 to slightly higher-ranked Celtics (#2, 9-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Bulls still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 7-3 record is not bad at all. Alleng is one of the most experienced players at Bulls and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Gavin Phillips (G) of league's top team Station Hill Cavaliers. Phillips scored 22 points. He was a key player of Cavaliers, leading his team to a 97-85 win against the lower-ranked Bears (#6, 3-8). Cavaliers have amazing season winning all 10 games without a single defeat. Phillips turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Phillips has a very solid season. In 10 games in Barbados he scored 16.9ppg. He also has 8.0rpg, 3.1apg, 3.5spg and a FGP of 60.8%.

10. Mark Bridgeman (198-F -1990) of Bears - 17 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists
