Undefeated Independiente (0-1) recorded its first loss in Santiago del Estero. Hosts were defeated by top-ranked Rivadavia (2-0) 70-58. Worth to mention a great performance of Uruguayan forward Agustin Da Costa (191-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Tobias Cravero (197-1999) who added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Rivadavia players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Emiliano Correa (188-1991) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and forward Lucio Castellani (196-1994) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Rivadavia moved-up to second place in Liga Argentina. Independiente at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. Rivadavia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Independiente will play at home against Villa S.Martin (#16) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
