Everything went according to plan in Concepcion de Urug. where thirteenth ranked Parque Sur (1-1) outscored 16th ranked H.Americano (1-3) 84-64 on Thursday. Parque Sur dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to H.Americano's 30. They outrebounded H.Americano 42-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward II Adams (201-1998, college: S.Connecticut) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Franco Fragozo (198-2001) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds.
