Regular Season Round 6: Comunicaciones - Regatas 67-73

Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Regatas (3-1) defeated 11th ranked Comunicaciones (2-4) in Mercedes 73-67 on Friday. Point guard Tobias Franchela (185-2001) notched 33 points (!!!) to lead the effort and Francisco Ferraro supported him with 15 points and 4 assists. Even 20 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals by point guard Agustin Passone (180-2003) did not help to save the game for Comunicaciones. Guard Facundo Rivero (180-2004) added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Regatas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Obera. Loser Comunicaciones dropped to the fourteenth position with four games lost. They share it with Platense. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
