Real Esteli defeated Tipitapa to take 2-0 lead in the Finals. Real Esteli forced 19 Tipitapa turnovers. American forward Deijah Blanks (178, college: St.Edward's) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 5 steals. The other American import guard Ashton Millender (173, college: DePaul) contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Clenia Salazar replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 22 rebounds and 5 assists and Cuban point guard Dairis Tornell (176-1992) added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Tipitapa. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
