Taurinas (14-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Mineras (10-6) 78-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Taurinas. Mineras forced 21 Taurinas turnovers. Forward Gabriela Castillo (175-2002) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Vanessa Reyes (-2007) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Mineras' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Enyerlis Silva (-1997) produced 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Endrina Bolivar (-1990) added 10 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side.
