No shocking result in a game when third ranked Corsarios (6-10) beat 5th ranked Tigrillos (2-12) in Medellin 83-66 on Sunday. The winners were led by center Jhon Hernandez (208-1984) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Logan Santiago (185, college: AIC) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Corsarios players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 8 rebounds by forward Andres Jaimes (198-2004) did not help to save the game for Tigrillos. Point guard Steven Sanabria (180-2004) added 15 points and 4 steals for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Corsarios have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 6-10 record having five points less than leader Titanes. Tigrillos lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 12 games lost.
