Everything went according to plan in Buenos Aires where ninth ranked Boca Jrs (4-2) beat 19th ranked La Union (1-8) 65-55 on Monday. They outrebounded La Union 42-25 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Santino Romegialli (204-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Guard Tiago Drocezesky (193-2005) chipped in 8 points and 5 rebounds. Boca Jrs' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Agustin Sigel (165-2002) produced 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Hernan Pereyra added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Boca Jrs have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place. La Union lost third consecutive game. They keep the nineteenth position with eight games lost. Boca Jrs will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. La Union will play against Argentino (#8) in Junin and hope to win that game.
