Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Montevideo: Bigua (#7) and L.Borges (#4). L.Borges were defeated at home 74-87 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Bigua looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Martin Rojas (195-1998) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Guard Santiago Vidal (180-1989, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 assists. American center Ricardo Glenn (203-1990, college: USC Upstate, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Christian Pereira (194-1993) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Bigua and four L.Borges players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion (2-1) moved-up to fourth place. Loser L.Borges dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Bigua's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Olimpia.
