Regular Season Round 9: H.Americano - Racing 69-81

Very expected game in Rio Gallegos where 14th ranked H.Americano (2-4) was defeated by eighth ranked Racing (3-1) 81-69 on Friday. Racing well out of reach of H.Americano shooting 100.0 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) stepped up and scored 29 points (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) for the winners and guard Erbel De Pietro (185-1988) chipped in 13 points. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Lucas Reyes (181-2000) with 5 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Federico De Miguel (176-1997) scored 13 points. H.Americano's coach Sebastian Torre rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Racing. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser H.Americano dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. They share it with Dep Viedma. Racing will meet Del Progreso (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. H.Americano will play against Rocamora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
