There was a minor upset when 12th ranked San Lorenzo (3-5) lost to fourteenth ranked Boca (3-3) in Almagro 69-75 on Friday. It was an exceptional evening for American-Jordanian Dar Tucker (193-1988, college: DePaul) who led the winners and scored 18 points. The former international Leonardo Mainoldi (205-1985) accounted for 11 points for the winning side. Boca's coach Gonzalo Garcia used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Fernando Podesta (205-1992) came up with 10 points and 7 rebounds and forward Facundo Rutemberg (195-2001) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for San Lorenzo in the defeat. Boca moved-up to tenth place. San Lorenzo lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. Boca will meet at home higher ranked Obera (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Lorenzo will have a break next round.
