Very expected game in Mercedes where 15th ranked Comunicaciones (2-5) was defeated by ninth ranked Obera (4-1) 79-73. The winners were led by guard Francisco Tarnowyk (192-2001) who scored that evening 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Nicolas Quiroga (191-2003) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by point guard Agustin Passone (180-2003) did not help to save the game for Comunicaciones. Guard Facundo Rivero (180-2004) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Four Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Obera moved-up to sixth place.
