Regular Season Round 3: Ferro - Pacifico 57-63

There was a minor upset in Olavarria where Ferro Carril (2-1) was defeated by Pacifico (3-1) 63-57 on Monday. Pacifico made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for guard Valeria Fernandez (-1998) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Nadia Frete (173-1987) helped adding 10 points. Pacifico's coach Sergio Bellandi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Micaela Gonzalez (167-1996) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Julieta Perez scored 10 points and 5 steals. Pacifico will meet at home Obras in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ferro Carril will play against Berazategui and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
