Rather predictable result when fourth ranked San Salvador (15-5) won against at home 7th ranked Nejapa (6-14) 99-91 on Thursday. San Salvador looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Nejapa's players. Dominican Bernardo Polanco (189-1994) notched 48 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Dominican Jonatan Bello (-2001) supported him with 12 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 43 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Kylon Higgins (190-1993, college: Arkansas Tech) did not help to save the game for Nejapa. Center Teodoro Romero (202-1985) added 16 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
