Very predictable result in San Luis where fourth ranked GEPU (6-1) defeated 16th ranked Sarmiento R. (1-8) 95-81 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was swingman Hans Ponce (192-1999) who scored 26 points and 6 rebounds. American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Marcelo Martinez (187-1996) produced 19 points and 7 rebounds and Andres Mariani (190-1987) added 20 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. GEPU have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Racing.
