Regular Season Round 10: Obras - Obera 63-66

The most exciting game of round 10 in the LDD took place in Buenos Aires. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th ranked Obras (5-4) to third ranked Obera (7-1) 66-63 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Obras. Worth to mention a great performance of Kelvin Ramirez who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Francisco Tarnowyk (192-2001) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Obera players scored in double figures. Chilean point guard Felipe Inyaco (192-2002) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds and forward Matias Von Schmeling (200-2001) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Obras. Obras' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Obera have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Obras at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Gimnasia. Obera will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Obras will play on the road against Atenas (#4) in Cordoba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
