Regular Season Round 9: Quimsa - Regatas 94-75

Very predictable result in Santiado del Estero where sixth ranked Quimsa (7-3) outscored 15th ranked Regatas (4-5) 94-75 on Tuesday. International point guard Franco Baralle (185-1999) stepped up and scored 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. Quimsa's coach Manuel Cordoba used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Rodney Green (197-1988, college: La Salle) with 14 points and the former international forward Pablo Espinoza (201-1987) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Quimsa. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Obera. Regatas at the other side dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Boca. Quimsa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Regatas will play against Union SF (#18) and hope to secure a win.
