No shocking result in a game when third ranked Sao Paulo (7-1) defeated on the road 11th ranked Caxias do Sul (4-4) 86-70. The game was mostly controlled by Sao Paulo. Caxias do Sul was better in fourth quarter 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Caxias do Sul 48-32 including 37 on the defensive glass. Sao Paulo players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists.
