There was no surprise in La Banda where 14th ranked Olimpico (3-5) was edged by ninth ranked Regatas (5-2) 65-63 on Wednesday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Regatas made 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Juan Cruz Scacchi (195-2001) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds and Dominican Rey Abad (210-2002) who added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks during the contest. Four Regatas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Sahir Abdala (185-2005) with 20 points and guard Leon Luna (185-2002) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Olimpico's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Regatas moved-up to seventh place. Olimpico lost third consecutive game.
