Argentina
Regular Season Round 10: Obera - Argentino 77-62
Date: November 25, 2022
Very expected game when 13th ranked Argentino (4-7) lost on the road to sixth ranked Obera (7-3) 77-62 on Friday. Obera made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The former international point guard Nicolas De los Santos (180-1988) notched 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) supported him with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Obera's coach Fabio Demti used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by Cuban power forward Marlon Diaz (200-1998, agency: Pro Sports) did not help to save the game for Argentino. Forward Enzo Filipetti (201-2001) added 12 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Obera moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Quimsa. Argentino lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with San Lorenzo. Obera will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Argentino will play against Obras (#3) and hope to secure a win.
