Regular Season Round 13: Regatas - Union 76-55

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Regatas (6-2) crushed 11th ranked Union (4-3) in Corrientes 76-55 on Sunday. Regatas well out of reach of Union shooting 84.4 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Regatas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 73.3 percentage. Point guard Tobias Franchela (185-2001) nailed 16 points for the winning side and point guard Juan Peral (179-2005) accounted for 13 points. Regatas' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Lucas Peralta (-2005) came up with 21 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and Lorenzo Micheloni (195-2001) added 11 points respectively for Union in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Regatas. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Union keeps the eleventh position with three games lost. Regatas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Union will play against Quimsa (#3) and hope to secure a win.
