There was no surprise in Sunchales where 10th ranked Libertad (5-7) was defeated by fourth ranked GEPU (8-2) 79-74 on Friday. The best player for the winners was point guard Andres Lugli (188-1995) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Gustavo Acosta (198-1989) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Mateo Perez (189-2002, agency: BIG) produced 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international swingman Julian Eydallin (195-2000) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Five GEPU and four Libertad players scored in double figures. Newly promoted GEPU maintains fourth place with 8-2 record. Loser Libertad keeps the tenth position with seven games lost.
