There was a surprise result in Junin where fourteenth ranked Union (5-4) defeated higher ranked Argentino (6-7) 53-45 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Matias Fleury (-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Facundo Chamorro helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was Luis Colon with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Augusto Gennero (188-2003) scored 8 points. Union moved-up to tenth place. Loser Argentino dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. Union will meet Obras (#12) in the next round. Argentino will play against Penarol and hope to secure a win.
