Regular Season Round 15: Platense - Riachuelo LR 75-65

We should mention about the upset which took place in Florida, where higher ranked Riachuelo LR (4-5) lost to eighteenth ranked Platense (4-7) in a road game 65-75 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Riachuelo LR. It was a great evening for point guard Felipe Massa (184-2002) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Juan Frigerio (170-2003) helped adding 19 points and 8 rebounds. Four Platense players scored in double figures. Platense's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Colombian forward Yustin Llerena (195-2002) with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Matias Bichara scored 15 points. Platense moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Olimpico. Loser Riachuelo LR keeps the fourteenth position with five games lost. Platense will meet Penarol (#19) in the next round. Riachuelo LR will play against San Lorenzo (#18) in Almagra and hope to secure a win.
