Aguila breezed past Santa Tecla to open 2-0 lead in the Finals. Aguila looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Santa Tecla's players. American point guard Marquise Mosley (175-1997, college: Biola, CA) scored 29 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Brayan Garcia (194-1998) chipped in 12 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Aguila players scored in double figures. Aguila's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American Cameron Lard (206-1997, college: Iowa St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import Marcus Barham (195-1996, college: FAMU) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds.
