The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ciclista as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ciclista defeated 17th ranked Parque Sur in Juninense 82-70. They outrebounded Parque Sur 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Lisandro Fernandez (194-1998, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Swingman Manuel Lambrisca (192-1997) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Taurus Adams II (201-1998, college: S.Connecticut) answered with 15 points and Franco Fragozo (198-2001) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Parque Sur. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Parque Sur lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with nine games lost. Parque Sur will play next round against strong Racing trying to get back on the winning streak. Ciclista will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked La Union in Colon.
