Very expected game when 17th ranked Parque Sur (3-9) was smashed on the road by eleventh ranked Pergamino (6-8) 75-49 on Friday. Pergamino outrebounded Parque Sur 44-33 including 36 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for guard Manuel Gomez (183-1996) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists. Forward Benjamin Levato (188-1999) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Forward Juan Boffelli (197-1998) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Taurus Adams II (201-1998, college: S.Connecticut) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Parque Sur in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pergamino moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Libertad and Rocamora. Parque Sur lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the seventeenth position with nine games lost. Pergamino will meet at home higher ranked La Union (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Parque Sur will play against the league's second-placed Racing (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
