Indeportes held Power to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Power 49-37 including 35 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Jenifer Munoz (170-1991) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Manuela Rios (165-1997) accounted for 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. The former international power forward Tania Valencia (177-1994) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and the former international power forward Wendy Coy (178-1998) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Power in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
