Regular Season Round 18: Regatas - Platense 81-60

Rather expected game in Corrientes where 11th ranked Platense (6-9) was rolled over by eighth ranked Regatas (7-4) 81-60 on Thursday. Regatas shot 64.6 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. Francisco Ferraro scored 22 points to lead the charge for the winners and Dominican Rey Abad (210-2002) chipped in 19 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) during the contest. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Santino Mazzucchelli with 25 points and point guard Felipe Massa (184-2002) scored 15 points. Regatas moved-up to seventh place. Loser Platense dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Regatas will again meet Platense (#13) in the next round where they are favorite. Platense will have a break next round.
