Very predictable result when second ranked Obera (12-2) won against 12th ranked Ferro (7-9) in Buenos Aires 71-58 on Monday. Obera made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for forward Alejo Gonzalez (198-1999) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 4 steals. Forward Alejo Azpilicueta (201-2002) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Obera players scored in double figures. Swingman Felipe Rodriguez (195-2003) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and forward Andres Fernandez (199-2002) added 10 points respectively for Ferro in the defeat. Ferro's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Obera have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 12-2 record behind leader Instituto. Loser Ferro dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. Obera will meet at home Olimpico (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ferro will play against Independ.O. (#5) in Olivia and hope to secure a win.
