There was a surprise result when nineteenth ranked Olimpico (5-8) beat higher ranked Riachuelo LR (6-6) in La Banda 78-72 on Tuesday. It was an exceptional evening for guard Luciano Caceres (180-2001) who led the winners and scored 31 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Leon Luna (185-2002) accounted for 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Colombian forward Yustin Llerena (195-2002) came up with 28 points and forward Lautaro Velazquez (201-2002) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Riachuelo LR in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Olimpico moved-up to sixteenth place. Loser Riachuelo LR keeps the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with Penarol. Olimpico will meet league's second-placed Obera on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Riachuelo LR will have a break next round.
