The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Sivar (2-1) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Costa Rica (3-0) 63-48. It was a great evening for Sara Garcia (165-1984) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 5 rebounds. Alicia Abarca (165-1997) helped adding 7 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Amalia Velasquez (160-1993) with 10 points and 5 rebounds and center Samantha Vasquez (162-2002) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
