Regular Season Round 22: Jachal - Montmartre 102-90

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 14th ranked Montmartre (6-7) was defeated on the road by fifteenth ranked Jachal (6-10) 102-90 on Saturday. Jachal looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Power forward Nicolas Gimenez (203-1994, agency: BIG) had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ismael Sarruff (, agency: BIG) chipped in 27 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Jachal players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Richard Granberry (203-1993, college: Virginia St.) responded with 32 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Martin Gomez (197-1996) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Montmartre's coach Gabriel Albornoz rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jachal moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Echague and CAO Ceres. Montmartre lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost.
