Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Nassau: Rockets (#1) and Shockers (#2). Rockets (5-0) smashed visiting Shockers (3-2) by 28 points 86-58. Rockets forced 19 Shockers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Shockers' players. Rockets brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Roosevelt Whylly had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Christorr Stuart (188) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Rockets' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Jeron Smith with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and guard Spurgeon Johnson scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Rockets have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record. Shockers at the other side keep the second place with two games lost.
