Regular Season Round 24: Rocamora - Racing 96-86

Top ranked Racing (15-3) recorded its third loss on the court of eleventh ranked Rocamora on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Rocamora 96-86. 33 personal fouls committed by Racing helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Tomas Verbauwede (198-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Galo Impini (194-1997) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Alejo Barrales (174-1991) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively. Five Rocamora and four Racing players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rocamora (8-8) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Racing at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Ameghino. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
