Regular Season Round 24: Rocamora - Racing 96-86

Top ranked Racing (15-3) recorded its third loss on the court of eleventh ranked Rocamora on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Rocamora 96-86. 33 personal fouls committed by Racing helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Tomas Verbauwede (198-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Galo Impini (194-1997) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Alejo Barrales (174-1991) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively. Five Rocamora and four Racing players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rocamora (8-8) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Racing at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Ameghino.
