Rather predictable result when fifteenth ranked La Union (7-13) won against 18th ranked Union SF (4-15) in Santa Fe 95-81 on Saturday. La Union dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Union SF's 28. The winners were led by American guard Michael Henry (196-1995, college: Buffalo St.) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Thomas Cooper (196-1992, college: Calgary) supported him with 21 points. Even 22 points and 6 rebounds by Haitian forward Jeantal Cylla (201-1996, college: Arkansas) did not help to save the game for Union SF. Guard Emiliano Toretta (185-2001) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
