An interesting game took place in Buenos Aires where higher ranked Olimpico (11-4) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Boca (9-8) 84-76. Boca dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpico's 34. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Olimpico's players. American power forward Raven Barber (206-1991, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: Players Group) nailed 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and the former international point guard Franco Balbi (188-1989) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Patricio Tabarez (195-1991) came up with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Leonardo Lema (204-1998) added 15 points respectively for Olimpico in the defeat. Four Olimpico players scored in double figures. Olimpico's coach Leonardo Gutierrez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Boca moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Regatas. Olimpico at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Boca will play against Independ.O. (#14) in Olivia in the next round. Olimpico will play at home against Union SF (#19) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
