Regular Season Round 26: Quilmes MP - Parque Sur 79-67

Very predictable result in Mar del Plata where tenth ranked Quilmes MP (8-6) defeated 17th ranked Parque Sur (3-15) 79-67 on Wednesday. They outrebounded Parque Sur 47-36 including 35 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Tomas Nally (202-2002, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds. Ezequiel Dupuy (185-1997, agency: BIG) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Lucas Gallardo (199-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Valentin Lofrano (176-1999) added 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Five Quilmes MP and four Parque Sur players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quilmes MP moved-up to ninth place. Parque Sur lost fourteenth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 15 games lost. Quilmes MP will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Parque Sur will play against Lanus (#4) in Buenos Aires and hope to secure a win.
